#501.5 - As Oshawott mature, they train diligently on using different techniques with their scalchops. Though they look like generic shells, the scalchops are actually an organic material, and once an Oshawott has mastered using one scalchop, they produce a second one and begin training with two.

#502.5 - Dewott’s growth process is directly influenced by their fighting styles and training. Rather than producing more scalchops, the bone-like growths begin to form an armor, allowing Dewott to face more formidable foes. The armor plates can be removed at will to be used as weapons.
